Q: Do I need to make an appointment for an appraisal?
A: No. You can visit our store during business hours. However, if you are traveling more than 15 minutes from home it is best to call ahead before you leave to make sure we will be available.
Q: What are your hours?
A: We are open weekdays from 10am to 5pm and Saturdays from 10am to 3pm. Plus you can always call. Our phone is answered every day from 9am to 9pm.
Q: Who will perform my appraisal?
A: Robert Minichino, owner of CJRC, performs each and every appraisal to make sure you receive the highest possible price.
Q: Will my coins and jewelry be appraised in my presence or will I have to leave them with you?
A: We never take anything to a back room or away from your view. At Central Jersey Rare Coins you never lose sight of your coins and jewelry. We do our best to walk you through each step of our appraisal so that you understand how your items are being evaluated. For example, any testing of jewelry is done right in front of you. Our scale is in plain view and counts from our coin machine are readily visible for your verification.
Q: If I choose to sell my jewelry or coins, how will I get paid?
A: Depending on the amount, you may receive cash or check. Our bank, Wells Fargo, is across the street from our store for check cashing privileges. We can also provide for a bank wire to your account.
Q: I have a question that you didn't answer. What should I do?
A: If you have a question that is not covered by our FAQ it is always best to call us at 732-563-1933. You may also email us but that usually entails several back and forth exchanges.
